Publé le 18 April 2019

In the context of the project to support the restoration of the rule of law in the Central African Republic, financed by the Centre for Crisis and Support (Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs) and supported by the French Embassy, a training on ‘The role of the court clerk in the enforcement of judgments and legal remedies’ was held in Bangui from 21 to 29 March 2019.

23 court clerks were involved in this training provided by two French experts (Ms Janine Kister, the honorary chef’s court clerk and Ms Michèle LEAT, honorary court clerk). The various practices of enforcement of judicial decisions in both civil and criminal matters, as well as the rules on the different remedies, have been the subject of an in-depth study which has led to lively and fruitful exchanges.
