Closing event of the EU funded project “support justice reforms in Ukraine”
Since October 2013, Justice cooperation Internationale has been implementing the EU-funded project to support justice reforms in Ukraine. This 8.5M€’s project ends on 6 December 2017, after being extended by an additional year in December 2016.
The Closing Ceremony was held in Kiev on 23 November 2017 in the presence of all the beneficiaries (the Ministry of Justice, the Administration of the President, the Supreme Court, etc.), as well as representatives of the European Union Delegation in Kiev.
The eventhighlighted the many activities supported by the project:
- the implementation of a Strategy of the justice reforms, validated by the Ukrainian President,
- the creation of private enforcement officers,
- the organization of the selection process for judges (Supreme Court, First instance Judges, …),
- the development of a system of registers and E-Justice…
