Conference in Tirana (Albania) on “Enforcement of court decisions pledge of an efficient economy”

On October 26th and 27th, 2017 JCI participated in the conference, organized by the French National Chamber of Bailiffs, with the support of the Foundation for the  Continental Law, in the context of a long-standing relationship between French and Albanian judicial bailiffs, particularly since 2009, when Albania created a body of private bailiffs, while at the same time maintaining a body of public ushers.

Sealed on May 12, 2017 by a bilateral agreement, these relations got a specific level from March 2015 to October 2016, with the implementation by JCI, with essential participation of the French bailiffs, of a Twinning program, financed by the European Union, aiming at the improvement of enforcement procedures and at consolidation of enforcement agents’ body through training and ethics.

As part of introductory speeches opened  by the President of the Republic of Albania, Ms. Nicole COCHET, Director of the JCI Group, welcomed the cooperation performed in the twinning project. She stressed the importance of continuing efforts of Albanian justice to approximate with European standards, while ensuring the Albanian authorities of  the possibilities of JCI’s support in the framework of other current or future cooperation projects.

The round tables of the following day, introduced by Mr. Henri NALLET, former French Minister of Justice, highlighted the role of enforcment’s professionals at the service of citizens and companies, and the core role  of new technologies in enforcement’s operations. Patrick SANNINO, President of the French Chamber of French Ushers and Mr. Julien ROCHE, President of the France-Albania Chamber of Commerce and Industry made the final speeches.
