ECJIN : Third study visit in Madrid

As part of a study visit in Spain from 24 to 26 February 2020, the European inspection team gathered in Madrid to continue its data collection work, in the framework of the ECJIN project.

This third study visit enabled the inspection team to meet judges working in the Justice Inspection services, representatives of the Centre of Legal Documentation (CENDOJ), the Directorate General of International Judicial Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice, as well as members of the Network for International Judicial Cooperation (RECILAJ).

These exchanges lead to the collection of qualitative data on the implementation of European regulations in the field of judicial cooperation in civil matters, as well as to a better understanding of the difficulties encountered by Spanish judicial actors when implementing European regulations.

The next study visit will take place in Bucarest, Romania.
