Facing Coronavirus and containment, how does JCI pursue its activities?

Publé le 9 April 2020

At this particular time for everyone, JCI tries to maintain an activity as sustained as possible in the projects it leads or those it just takes part in, whereas it took the decision to place all its Parisian employees in teleworking before the instructions of containment. Therefore, JCI responds to backers’ demands as they ask for the pursuit of activities insofar as it is possible.

In these circumstances, activities that can fall in with teleworking are favored such as the production of deliverables, the writing of technical specifications sheets and good practice guides.

All short-term experts and headquarters staff’s missions, which were supposed to occur in the beneficiary countries, are obviously adjourned. However, JCI is looking for other options to remotly conduct some working groups or thematics presentation, initially planned, through video conference or conference calling.

In due course, we will launch on our website a little column showing those efforts. Project managers, long-term experts, whose some live in their host countries while others currently work from France, will successively present how they work on finishing what they started and giving their(s) project(s), by anticipating a restart that we all wish is not too far, the best chances to get to a successful result in conditions as close as possible to initial forecast.
