Launch of a project to support the creation of INAFORJ

Publé le 27 June 2019

Following the inauguration on February 15 by the Congolese Minister of Justice of the National Institute of Judicial Training (INAFORJ), the Deputy Director of Operations and a JCI Project Manager travelled from April 7 to 11 to launch the project to support the creation of INAFORJ.

This project, financed by the French Development Agency, has been allocated €300,000 to help the institute first consolidate its administrative and financial existence and then establish its educational activity to train magistrates, clerks and public prosecution secretaries.

This visit made it possible to meet the various actors of the project but also to present the project to various partners working on the justice sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The first steering committee of the project is scheduled to be held in July 2019 in conjunction with a mission to support the Institute’s budget governance.
