From 15 to 20 July 2019, experts Ms Khemiri, court clerk in chief and trainer at the High Institute of the Judiciary of Tunisia, and Mr Sambou, Mauritanian honorary judge, travelled to the northern (Dar Naïm) and southern (Arafat) wilayas of Nouakchott. This final round of trainings, following those held in July 2018 in Nouakchott West and October 2018 in Nouadhibou, should enable court clerk’s offices in the two wilayas to better understand the techniques of registraring in criminal matters. The tools proposed by the experts will help them to ensure better monitoring of the procedures. Thanks to the action-training method, all stages of the criminal justice chain could be covered and personalised solutions were proposed to the needs and technical difficulties of each unit.
