PRAVO Project kick off
The presentation of the inception phase of the PRAVO project took place on 18 June 2018 during the kick off meeting of the project.
A work plan was presented to the different stakeholders of the project: beneficiaries, European Commission, etc.
For each component, the plan develops the strategy of implementation of the reforms and the different priorities by quarter for the total duration of the project.
The project is led by Expertise France for a total amount of 15M€ over 3 years on the following components:
- Component 1: Coordination and implementation of the justice reform strategy,
- Component 2: Improving the functioning of the Judiciary,
- Component 3: Enforcement of civil and criminal decisions,
- Component 4: E-Justice.
JCI manages component 2.1 and component 3.2 on the enforcement of civil decisions, for a total amount of nearly €2M.
This meeting was also the occasion to present the new international expert on Component 2: Anna ADAMSKA-GALLANT, Polish judge who has worked for 5 years for EULEX in Kosovo. She has been chosen to lead the component until December 2020.
