Support to the Modernisation of the Administration of Justice

Objectifs

Provide structural support to the process of modernizing the administration of justice in Egypt and promote better juvenile justice. In other words, “SMAJ” aims to improve the management and organizational capacities of the Ministry of Justice and other relevant Egyptian institutions, with the objective of increasing the quality of the service provided to litigants. To this end, the “SMAJ” project provides for a support:

  • for the modernisation of the Ministry of Justice
  • for the modernisation of the School for the Judiciary
  • for the modernisation of the Supreme Court
  • for the modernisation of the Judicial Information Centre
  • towards a juvenile justice system that respects European and international standards
