Cooperation Program for Criminal Investigations and Drug Trafficking

Objectifs
Improving the effectiveness of criminal justice in the prosecution of organized crime and drug trafficking at the international level, in SICA member countries (Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Dominican Republic, Salvador ). To do this :
- Support for the unification of the processes of the various actors of the criminal justice system: police, prosecutor’s office and forensic medicine;
- Improvement of procedures to reduce the delay in the processing of criminal investigations;
- Improvement of cooperation between the institutions responsible for the criminal investigation;
- Creation of guides and manuals for police personnel and prosecutors.
