Support to the restoration of the rule of law

Central African Republic

Objectifs

To perpetuate the actions initiated and implemented within the framework of the European program RESEJEP (Rehabilitation of the sectors of Justice and Police in Central Africa) in favor of the restoration of the rule of law, and to complete them through missions of audit, technical assistance, training and the organization of immersion courses in France.

More specifically, the project aims to strengthen :

  • The criminal chain and more specifically: the fight against corruption, the investigation / prosecution services, the criminal hearing, the execution of sentences and criminal records, the filing of documents and the filing and enforcement of sentences.
  • The capacity of judicial personnel: magistrates, clerks, lawyers, bailiffs and notaries benefit from training specific to their profession (training on ethical rules, training in administrative techniques of transplant, training on immunities of seizures, etc.)
