Signing of the MJ/JCI/EF Agreement

On Friday 9 November, Justice Coopération Internationale, Expertise France (operator of the Min of Foreign Affairs) and the Ministry of Justice signed a convention on the reform of international technical expertise. The idea is to share better the activities between EF and JCI. Another agreement between EF/Ministry offers the possibility for EF, in cases falling within its field, to intervene directly and mobilise the public expertise of the Ministry of Justice, via the Delegation for European and International Affairs of the MJ.

“The signing of this agreement is an important moment. It is an achievement but it is also a new beginning for the intelligence of international cooperation led by France, particularly in the field of Justice,” said Jean-Claude MARIN, Chairman of the JCI Board of Directors.

This agreement is not a compromise but a consensus, the objective shared by all the stakeholders being to have France’s expertise recognised abroad.
